And if his story was different from what he initially told police, that would put him further under the police microscope (UM< if they ever decided to get one out and investigate!) I would be hesitant to involve an old interest into this case as well. I would be really surprised that he would insert himself into this case after this long - risking being suspected AGAIN. Besides, the male neighbor mentioned Craig and how he was always outside watching. He was targeted as a suspect so I can understand his initial unwillingness to talk. I may be alone in this but I really believed Craig.
